We believe pouring your heart into your puppies makes all the difference! Here in our Ohio home, we raise Newfoundland puppies & Doodle puppies (Newfypoo & Sheepadoodle puppies). Our babies are loved on & socialized from the very start, helping ensure they make the sweetest companions.
The Newfoundland dog is a giant breed from Canada known for their strikingly large size and gentle, sweet-natured temperament. They have a rich history and are praised for their water rescue abilities.
Their ‘big teddy bear’ personalities make them excellent companions and a great candidate as a therapy dog. Not to mention, Newfoundland puppies are just the cutest fluff balls you’ll ever meet!
With a cute name and curly coat, doodle dogs are incredibly popular with pet owners. A Doodle is the cross of a Poodle with another breed. They're favorites for people with allergies because they often promise little to no shedding (though no dog is 100% non-shedding).
Doodles are typically good-natured, smart, and sweet family dogs.
Our puppies are most often First Generation Doodles (or F1, as you may have heard). This means we are breeding a purebred Poodle to another purebred breed. With an F1, you are still going to preserve many of the traits in both personality & appearance from each dog.
We have now incorporated F1b Doodles to our program. With this, you’re crossing an F1 dog to a purebred Poodle. The easiest way to think of this would be that the puppies are 3/4 Poodle (roughly). With the F1b Doodles, that higher percentage of Poodle should give you even less shedding than the F1’s. These are typically a great option for families who are allergy prone.
We offer Sheepadoodle’s (Standard Poodle x Old English Sheepdog) and Newfypoo’s (Standard Poodle x Newfoundland).
With the F1b, we offer Sheepadoodle’s (F1 Sheepadoodle x Poodle).
We alternate a litter of these Doodles. Newfypoo's one year, Sheepadoodle's the next. Feel free to reach out to discuss upcoming litter plans!
The first step to finding your new best friend! Our adoption process begins with your puppy application. This screening helps walk us through your lifestyle and home environment, what you’re looking for in a puppy and any preferences you may have. It’s important to be honest on your application.
We spend countless hours with our puppies learning the individual nuances of each one’s personality. And it’s our responsibility to them to make sure we find their perfect match, too.
Raising a well-rounded litter of pups is a labor of love. That begins with our parent dogs- and the time, health testing, resources, training & care we invest into them, our puppies and our program. When you have 8 big dogs, it seems there’s always something to do or pay for..
We plan our whole year around ‘puppy time’. And once the little bundles make their big entrance, it’s a round the clock commitment! We are with them morning til night, even sleeping beside the whelping area. You have to be on guard at all times, as things can change in a second.
As the weeks go on, you’re working on their puppy curriculum, always cleaning and doing laundry (oh, the laundry!) or working on photos & videos for families. All while taking care of your usual daily tasks and (trying) to balance family life too.
When your application is approved, you will pay a small non-refundable deposit to reserve your puppy or spot on our list.
Your puppy will have been examined by our veterinarian and received 1 or more sets of vaccinations with us, depending at what age they leave. They will already have a microchip (which we will register to you) plus 1 month of free pet insurance with Trupanion!
Located in Southeastern Ohio, we have various options available to get your new baby to you. Whether you’d like to pick up yourself, have us bring puppy to you, or meet somewhere in the middle!
If you’re from further away, we’re happy to meet you at an Ohio airport. Or we can always work out special arrangements if needed. We’ll be happy to discuss the best option for you over the phone or via messaging.
Our puppies are raised indoors and are very much part of our family. They have their very own doggie nursery room and we take recess time outside where they can run & play. We incorporate various activities to provide not only fun, but enrichment too.
We believe this constant socialization with children & other pets helps form their personalities into the extraordinarily sweet & loving companions they blossom into.
You will want to schedule an appointment with your own Vet to establish your new baby in their office and receive any additional vaccinations or routine care. We will gladly walk you through all of this as we help you prepare to add a Sweet Creek Pup to your family.
We offer lifetime family support, and you are always welcome to reach out at any time!
We want to make sure that every puppy finds the perfect home. That's why we have a thorough adoption process that includes a puppy application & reference checks. We may request a virtual home visit so that we can get a good idea of where puppy will be moving to.
We are always available to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way.

When you join our waitlist for a current/future litter, you’re reserving your position in the picking order. We feel it’s necessary to wait until the puppies are 6 weeks old before officially pairing them with families. This way, we’ve been able to watch their individual personalities shine through. After all, you wouldn’t want to match a puppy with higher energy with someone who’s really looking for a couch potato.
That said, we really do try our best to make sure families are getting the pup they love most!
Go-home Day is full of excitement! And by the time we’ve reached this point, it might feel like you’ve chatted back & forth with us countless times! But getting your puppy home is definitely an important part of your adoption journey.
We typically set an official “Go Home Day” for families who want to pick their puppy up at our home. But we will make special arrangements if that day won’t work for you.
We try to be as accommodating and flexible as possible for all of our families. If you’re further away, but would prefer to drive, we can always arrange to meet in the middle somewhere.
If you plan to fly, we will gladly meet you at one of the airports in our surrounding area. We are happy to discuss this further and tell you what you can expect flying with a puppy.
We truly try our very best to match our puppies with their perfect families! Thats why a screening process is so important.
If the rare occasion arose that a family felt they needed to re-home their puppy for any reason, we would absolutely take that puppy/dog back.
In fact, it’s part of our contract.
When you’ve brought these dogs into the world, you feel a responsibility to make certain they have the best lives! And that doesn’t end when they leave the nest.. that means their entire life!
Our puppies cannot leave until a contract has been signed, and it states that the dog/puppy must be returned to us. That’s our protection from making sure they never end up in an animal shelter or rescue.
Reach out at any time with questions or to discuss reserving your furry friend! We are always willing to go above & beyond to get one of our puppies to their perfect family.
